Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa by train (no meal)

Our guide will pick you up at 08 pm to the Hanoi train station to go to Sapa and start an amazing Sapa Tour with Fansipan 3D2N

The train departure at 10 pm and arrive Lao Cai at 5am on the next day.

Overnight on train. 

Day 2: Lao Cai - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai – Ta Van village – Sapa (B,L)

Arrive in Lao Cai Station in the early morning, we will be welcomed by our local guide and transfer to Sapa. After breakfast in a local restaurant, we will trek to Y Linh Ho village of the Hmong people. After lunch, we head to the Muong Hoa Valley, on the way passing through the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van where we will have a chance to meet some of the locals.

Then we will get back to Sapa hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Fansipan by cable car - Limousine bus back to Hanoi (B,L)

Sapa- Fansipan Cable Car Station:

After breakfast at hotel, we take 4-minute Mountain Train through valleys, viaducts and tunnels offering beautiful views of surrounding villages as well as nature. Reaching the Cable Car station, we get off the train and enjoy another 20 minutes cable car ride up to the top. Normally, it takes at least two or three days to reach the Peak of Fansipan Mountain on foot. However, with the newly three-rope cable car system, we can see the peak and spectacular surrounding from the peak within half a day.

Conquer Fansipan:

One of the famous and popular activities in this Sapa tour which you shouldn’t pass is conquering Fansipan. After 20-minute ride, we start challenging yourself with 636 high steps up to Fansipan Summit – which is considered ‘The Roof of Indochina’ with 3,143-meter height. Enjoy spectacular scenery of Hoang Lien Mountain and lush forest, we walk down to the cable car station and ride back. Take the Mountain Train back to town and have lunch in a restaurant.

Then time will be free until 3.00 PM to get on limousine bus back to Hanoi. We will arrive in Hanoi at around 8.30 – 9.00 PM.

Notes:

For your great trip, you should bring some belongings as below:

  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
  • Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
  • Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
  • You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
