Day 1: Hanoi arrival - Street Food Tasting tour (B, Snack)

Welcome up on arrival by local tour guide and driver then we transfer to hotel. At 12PM, we will check in hotel and have lunch by your own expense.

To begin with, at around 13.30 PM, our tour guide will take you to do food tour. You will have chance to walk along Hanoi Street, enjoy street food. Undoubtedly, this is one of famous thing when you arrive Vietnam. Then we come back to the hotel and relax on the rest of the day.

Day 2: Hanoi Tour – Overnight train to Sapa (B, L, and Welcome Dinner)

After breakfast today, we visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, His House on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the outside of the Presidential Palace and the Temple of Literature which was Vietnam’s first University.

Having lunch and we get more Vietnam culture at the intriguing Ethnology Museum. Followed by an hour on a cyclo (a pedal rickshaw) being taken round the old quarter of Hanoi. Then we enjoy Welcome Dinner at nice restaurant in Hanoi. After that, we will come back hotel to take your luggage to transfer to train for overnight train to Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B, L, D)

Y Linh Ho- Lao Chai – Ta Van:

Arriving early to Lao Cai today we will transfer to Sapa for our trek, where we will enjoy spectacular scenery as we head to the Y Linh Ho village of the Hmong people. After lunch, we head to the Muong Hoa Valley, on the way passing through the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van where we will have a chance to meet some of the locals.

Homestay experience:

Tonight we enjoy a homestay at one of the hill tribe villages. Homestays are a great way to get a feel for the culture and really understand more about the daily lives of the local people. A common saying is…  ‘you will arrive as a guest but leave as a friend’. Your overnight accommodation will be in a homestay in Sapa.

Day 4: Discovering Highest Mountain in Indochina: Fanxipang – Bus to Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver take you to walk away Fansipan cable car station. And the journey to conquer Fansipan is started by modern cable car system in the world to the point of 2800m. Then continue gaining for Fansipan at an altitude of 3.143m – the roof of Indochina.

In the late morning, our tour guide and driver will take you back to Sapa Town for lunch. You will be free until our Limousine take you back to Hanoi city.

Day 5: Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B, L)

In the morning:

At 8.00AM, say goodbye to Hanoi and spend two hours drive to the South, Ninh Binh Province, the film setting of the recent Hollywood movie, Kong: Skull Island.

Visit Mua Cave:

On arrival, we have trekking time at Hang Mua (Mua Cave). Here it is-  Hang Mua which was imitated from architecture of Great Wall of China with 486 stone steps makes you  have a wonderful view to landscape of mountain, valley and river.

Hoa Lu destination:

We will visit Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam under Dinh and Le dynasty with two temples worshiping Dinh Tien Hoang King and Le Dai Hanh King. Dinh Tien Hoang had successfully defeated Ngo Dynasty and made Vietnam officially independent from any ruler. On his death in 980, General Le Hoan wisely married Dinh’s widow and established the Le Dynasty and enlarged the citadel. We then stop at a local restaurant for lunch.

In the afternoon:

We will take a pleasant boat rowing in Hoang Long River to visit Trang An Eco-Tourism complex. Such a picturesque landscape with thousands of hectares with more than 100 caves, this complex can be explored by boat. It is also a home of 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna that many of them in the Red book of Vietnam. It is also a gathering of 31 valleys, 48 cross-water caves and we will visit 3 to 6 of them. On the rowing boat, we can enjoy the fresh air, clean and clear water with under water grass. Experience ourselves the feeling and emotion when we are on the water caves.

Then we will come back to Hanoi capital.

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Overnight on deluxe junk) (B, L, D)

We transfer to Halong today for our 2 day boat trip. Arriving at Halong Bay at midday, we will be welcome on board with welcome cocktail before checking in.

Have lunch on boat:

Enjoying seafood lunch and seeing the stunning views of the bay while the junk is sailing through the calm water.

Visit Vung Vieng Village:

The Paloma junk cruise will take us around the Bay with Bai Tu Long bay, visiting Vung Vieng floating fishing village to see the daily life of people here. We also join activities like: swimming, kayaking, sunbathing… and some other services available like massage, sauna… (your own paid). Enjoying sunset, dinner and overnight on boat.

Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

Early morning wake up today for Taichi session the sun deck and sun rise on the Bay. Then enjoy breakfast while the Paloma junk cruise sails through the Bay with marvelous islands and islets passing. Stop at Sung Sot cave for 1 hour then back to the junk for relax. Check out time at 10:00 and enjoy early lunch before returning to the wharf.

Our waiting vehicle will transfer us back to Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi – Flight to Hue - City Tour (B, L)

Hue citadel:

After your breakfast at hotel, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to airport.

On your arrival in Hue, we will meet local tour guide and driver at the airport then move to hotel. After short rest, we will start to explore Hue citadel.

As an ancient Capital city of many original historical vestiges, Hue has more than 100 architectural works to be extremely reflected the life of Emperors and Mandarins under Nguyen’s reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the Southern Bank of Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings.

Thien Mu Pagoda:

We first take boat trip along the Perfume river down to Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady pagoda). In this time, we have good view of Perfume River and surroundings. Keep on driving to the Tu Duc King’s tomb, which is one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb lies in a boundless pine forest. Then we transfer back to the city for our delicious lunch at a fine local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City; and Dong Ba market.

Relax and overnight in Hue.


Day 9: Hue – Transfer to Hoi An – Hoi An Tour (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, we travel by vehicle to Hoi An along scenic highway 1A. Along the way we will stop to contemplate the stunning views north, to Lang Co Beach and South to Danang city. Danang city is with Cham Museum, the Marble Mountain – the five elements of the Universe (water, wood, water, fire and earth). We arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, relax and take our walking tour.

Day 10: Hoi An – Farming and fishing Tour (B,L)

Herb Village:

This morning, we can choose the bus or bike to cycle to a local farming village to join daily work life of a local farmer. Especially, you will have a chance to hoeing and a soil, watering veggie at an organic herb garden, riding water buffalo in the field and enjoy the freshest air of the countryside beauty. After that, board the Hoi An Eco-tour boat and cruise to the mouth of the river where it meets the Cua Dai Sea.

Coconut palm – Fishing experience:

We also learn and try our hand at local traditional fishing techniques using round and cast nets, learn to paddle the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats. Explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers on both sides. Have a relaxed fun with catching beautiful purple crabs on bamboo basket boat. After visit a local water coconut palm village, we take a walk around the village and have some tea and snack with local talks…

Back on-board our Hoi An Eco-tour boat, enjoy our lunch and cold beer or soft drink on boat, then back to hotel for our luggage packing.

Day 11: Hoi An – Fly to Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi Tunnel (B)

Fly to Ho Chi Minh in the morning:

We transfer back to Danang airport to take a short domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh city this morning. After 1 hour flight, we are welcome by local tour guide and driver in Ho Chi Minh city then transfer to hotel.

Visit Cu Chi Tunnels in the afternoon:

We will leave Saigon for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the “Iron Triangle” or “Iron Land”. On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. After that we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city.


Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Explore Saigon by Night (SIC tour) (B, L, D)

After breakfast at hotel, at 8:00, we depart our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. Then visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Besides, we also stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get good shots for our memory of the big, modern city of Vietnam. Our delicious lunch will be served at a nice restaurant in the central city.

Have lunch and visit Ben Thanh Market:

Lunch will be served at local restaurant before visiting and shopping at Ben Thanh market, Cho Lon, China town and market. Here we can experience our Vietnamese Southern daily life.

At 6PM, our tour guide and driver will arrive hotel and pick you up for Vespa Tour. You will have experience like a local by explore city night.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh city – Cai Be - Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh (B)

Meet us at the pier in front of Cuu Long Hotel in Vinh Long where your crew will be ready to welcome you aboard with cold towels and a refreshing drink while the Cai Be Princess Sampan sets off for its leisurely cruise on the busy waterways of the Mekong Delta.

Mekong Delta:

Crossing the Co Chien River, one of the original nine branches of the mighty Mekong in the Delta, enter the Dong Phu Canal. Cruise past the islands of An Binh and Binh Hoa Phuoc, famous for their fruit orchards. Observe from the comfort of your sampan life as it plays out on the riverbanks the people. You can deeply enjoy the stunning landscapes while your attentive crew serves you tea and seasonal fruit.

Continue cruising along narrow canals past rural, unspoiled landscapes and lush greenery while observing the activity along the banks. Visit an ancient house built in the 19th century.

Cai Be:

Another place which we will get today is Cai Be. When you arrive at the bustling trading town of Cai Be, you’ll notice much more boat traffic, from motorized canoes to barges laden with fruit, vegetables, consumer goods and other products. Continue towards Phu An Hamlet and stop in on local workshops to observe the traditional process of making coconut candy and puffed rice (the local equivalent of popcorn).

Have lunch and come back Ho Chi Minh city:

Your cruise ends at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river and surrounded by fruit trees. This experience give you a sense of privileged life during Indochinese times. After lunch (at around 2:30 pm), take a short walk along a small canal back to Ba Bon Bridge where your personal vehicle awaits to drive you to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh city – Departure (B)

After your breakfast, we will start to move to airport. The guide say good bye to you.
