Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem lake, cyclo, water puppet and dinner (D)

Welcome up on arrival (11.05) by local tour guide and driver then we transfer to hotel. We start an amazing Vietnam Trip from now.

After a short rest, we will have a visit to the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple before hopping on a cyclo for a one-hour ride around the French inspired Old Quarters. Stroll through narrow streets of the Old Quarters and browse for fantastic deals on almost everything from souvenirs in small shops to paintings at contemporary art galleries.

We will be free for shopping in the old quarter ranges from markets through to designer boutique stores to amazing contemporary art galleries. We will then sit down to enjoy a performance of the city’s famous Water Puppets. After the show, we will have welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in town.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)

In the morning:

Today venture out to explore Hanoi. First up we will drive to the Ho Chi Minh complex where we will spend time at Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Explore West Lake area with Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Pagoda.

In the afternoon:

After lunch, we visit the Temple of Literature, which originally built as a temple to Confucius. Next up is Vietnamese Women’s Museum – one of the most interesting museums in Hanoi and voted among ’10 Must-see sites in Hanoi’ by the Tripadvisor. The museum has three main galleries and three main themes: Women in Family, Women in History and Women’s Fashion. With more than 1000 materials, photos and objects displayed in the museum show the role the Vietnamese women in History and Family life. We then finish with the infamous Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Hoa Lo is also known as the ‘’Hanoi Hilton’’ and was where former US presidential candidate John McCain was incarcerated for over 5 years.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on deluxe junk cruise (B, L, D)

In the morning:

Pick up at our hotel in Hanoi after breakfast, we will take 180 KM to Halong Bay – The Bay of Descending Dragon, which is located in the Northeast of Vietnam. Halong Bay has been recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage thanks to its universal values of landscape, geology, and geomorphology, respectively in 1994 and 2000 and is one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

11.45–12.15: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.

12.30–13.00: Embark on the boat. Enjoy welcome drink as Cruise Manager gives you a brief overview of the itinerary and important safety guideline. Check in your cabin.

13.30–14.30: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; Start sailing among famous Islets (Indochina studio, Am Islet…) of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with the panoramic natural views.

In the afternoon:

15.00–16.30: Visit and explore the well-hidden Co Cave (known as  Thien Canh Son Cave) where you can  hiking to the middle of the mountain to see the wild and mysterious beautiful cave, contemplate numerous  sparkling  stalactites  appear  like ‘hanging  lamps’  inside  the  Cave.  (No swimming).

Return to the boat and enjoy Happy hour. You will have 30% discount off from the special menu drinks including of cocktail, mock-tail and mixed drinks (from 16.30 pm to 19.00 pm.).

16.30–17.30: Enjoy kayaking and relaxing on the cruise in Cong Do Area.

17.30: Take part in carving flowers on the sundeck.

18.00–19.00: Attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (spring roll).

19.00-21.00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. You can enjoy the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night.

21.00-22.00: Enjoy evening activities (Squid Fishing, Movie Night, Board Games, Massage & Spa services) or relax at the leisure then overnight at private cabin at Cong Do area.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – fly to Hue (B, L)

Tai Chi session and breakfast:

06.30-07.00: Welcome a new day with an amazing dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. Refresh your body and soul with a Tai-chi session on the sundeck.

07.00-07.30: Catch the morning view of seascape while enjoying the breakfast with cookies and tea, café in the restaurant.

Vung Vieng Village :

07.30-08.30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village – the famous fishing farm by bamboo boat and discover life of local people living on the surface of Halong Bay. (No swimming).

08.30-9.30: Pack up the luggage and check out of the cabin.

09.30-10.40: Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to Vinashin tourist harbor.

11.00: We will disembark and find our car is waiting and take us back to Hanoi.


Cruise itinerary changes depending on cruise line and weather condition.

On the way back, drop by a mall or a shopping area and have some time for quick shopping/food before returning to hotel to pick up our big suitcases.

Head to the airport for flight to Hue at 19.00.

On arrival, our guide and driver will pick us up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5: Hue City Tour (B, L)

For the next step on our Vietnam Trip, we visit Hue.

Boat trip:

Pick up at hotel at 8:30 AM, we will board the Dragon Boat on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to the most beautiful tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. We will enjoy a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda is considered the symbol of Hue, and of Buddhism in Vietnam. From here, we rejoin our van and go visit King Khai Dinh’s Tomb and King Tu Duc’s Tomb.

Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market :

Visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, after exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument. We will then depart to the Hue Royal Fine Art Museum, which is housed within the former Dien Long An Royal Palace. Finish our day with the local Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people. Overnight in Hue.


Royal Dinner – 25 USD/pax

Tonight we enjoy almost special dishes that Kings and Queens had in the past at a special Royal Dinner. We will also dress as a King and Queen.

Day 6: Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B)

Danang sightseeing:

After breakfast at the hotel, we travel by vehicle to Hoi An along scenic highway 1A. Along the way, we will stop to contemplate the stunning views North, to Lang Co Beach and South to Danang city.

On arrival in Danang, we will have a brief visit at Cham Museum – the houses of the most complete collection if Cham Artifacts anywhere in the world; China Beach – where the American named and used to have their Rest and Relaxation; and the Marble Mountain – the five elements of the Universe (water, wood, air, fire and earth).

Hoian walking tour:

Arriving Hoi An in the afternoon, check in hotel. Later, we will start our walking tour around the ancient town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Departure (B)

Today, we transfer to Danang airport for flight to Saigon. Vietnam Trip ends.
