It is located in a limestone area of about 200,000 hectares in Vietnam. If you do not mind the long-distance (about 45km), you can ride a motorbike from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha. Renting a motorbike in Dong Hoi is not too complicated. The rental price in Dong Hoi fluctuates around 150k / 1 day. To be able to explore all the locations in Phong Nha, you need to hire about 2 days is moderate.

Among all caves belonging to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, Phong Nha is the most convenient cave for tourists to visit. This is also the cave with the only underground river in Vietnam being exploited for tourism.
Tien Son cave or Dry cave is a famous beautiful cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang area. The entrance to Tien Son cave is located about 1,000 m away from the Phong Nha cave entrance, at an altitude of about 200 m. Tien Son Cave has a length of 980 m. From the cave entrance which is about 400 m, there is an area about 10 m deep. Then the underground cave continues to be nearly 500 m long, quite dangerous. So visitors are not allowed to visit this area but only visit the distance 400 m from the cave entrance. Tien Son Cave is home to the spectacular stalactites and stalagmites like in Phong Nha cave. But it is characterized by the sounds coming from the rocks and stone pillars when being knocked into the echoes like gongs and drumbeat.
Thien Duong cave was discovered in 2005 by the Royal Cave Association of England and determined that this cave has a total length of 31 km. Due to the beauty of the cave, they named the cave Paradise. Thien Duong is considered to be bigger and longer than Phong Nha cave. This is a dry cave. There is no underground river flowing through like Phong Nha cave. There are many stalactites and stalagmites in Thien Duong cave. Most earthquakes are flexible, fairly flat soil, which is convenient for sightseeing and exploration. While the summer temperature outside is 36-37 ° C, the temperature in Paradise cave is always at 20-21 ° C.
Located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, the Nuoc Moc Ecotourism is an impressive tour of the newly discovered area. This ecotourism route passes through a dense forest of limestone forest, along the murmuring streams of the Mooc Spring and the Chay River. Chay River – Dark cave ecotourism area has been put into operation by Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park since 2011. In the form of tourism combining yachts to explore the nature of water and visit mysterious caves, makes visitors feel lost in the wilderness amidst the beauty of the natural world.
Chay River is originated from the same limestone mountain range in the ancient limestone area in Phong Nha – Ke Bang, with a length of about 10km. The journey to explore the Chay River – Dark cave tour is usually started from the pier at the trenching station of Trang Muong (Phuc Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province).
After boating to explore the Chay River in the bright summer sun, visitors will feel the change in temperature when the boat nears the mouth of the Dark cave. Dark Cave is a branch of the Phong Nha cave system, surveyed by the British Royal Cave Association in 1990 and 1992.
